Let's see where do I even begin??

My name is Crystal and I am a proud mommy of 2 littles Jace & Harper.  They are my support system along with my amazing husband, Jake. My family is my biggest why, and my whole world!

Just like most girls I have always been obsessed with clothes.  I love mixing prints, patterns and all things colorful.   I have always loved being different and am a turquoise & boot junkie!   I have always added a touch of western flare to every outfit and of course everything goes great with a pair of cowboy boots, right? I knew I wanted to take a leap of faith and open a storefront once both of my kids started school after being a stay at home mom for several years.  I had the background of boutique knowledge from previous jobs and worked as a buyer for a store in my hometown for many years so I knew a little of what I was getting in to.

I opened Ocotillo at the end of Covid years in 2021 (I know crazy girl huh) but I wasn't giving up on a dream.  We have grown so much since beginning my journey and I cannot thank my customers, family and friends enough for all of the love and support I have received!  The community of San Angelo has welcomed us with open arms and it's been a fantastic voyage since the beginning!   I love watching this dream of mine grow and it makes my heart so happy to have so many of you join us on this journey.

I get asked often where the name Ocotillo is from.   The Ocotillo is one of my favorite cactus shrub plants that have the most beautiful coral blooms and grow to the sky.   My husband and I used to take trips to Big Bend/Terlingua every year and the Ocotillo's were always in full bloom!  Big Bend area is truly one of my happy places.  To me it's a place to reset, embrace life, and fully fall off the grid from all of the craziness.  I used those trips to fuel my creativity and soak in the beauty of the wide open Texas country.

Thats how Ocotillo was born.

So with that I welcome you!  I hope you embrace all the beauty in life and I thank you for being such a big part of Ocotillo's story.

XOXO

Crystal
